Group tutoring
1. Group classes are booked with a specific number of classes for the following calendar month. This allows for the most cost-effective prices to be calculated and teaching resources allocated.
2. Prices are charged in accordance with the current price list depending on the group size and the frequency of the classes.
Course books are not included in the course fee so students should purchase their own books prior to their course. Link will advise which book is required and where this may be purchased. In class, students may receive additional learning materials appropriate to the level of the course, such as photocopies.
In the case of online classes, all teaching resources are provided for free.
3. Payment The invoice for the classes will be issued by the 15th of each month.
4. The number of students in a group may increase but will not be bigger than 8 students in total.
If the number of students increases during the duration of the contract, the price for lessons will be reduced accordingly to the price list. All adjustments will be made at the beginning of the next month after which the change occurred.
After consultation and agreement with the course participant, Link may move a customer into another group for pedagogical reasons if this is deemed to improve the learning progress of the whole group or of the individual customer.
5. Cancelling the group lessons is not possible. Lateness or absences will not qualify the student for any refund, however, the student will be informed by an email about the missed class and about the homework he/she should do for the following class. In the event of a student's sickness (if the student participates in in-school classes), Link offers Skype/Zoom meetings, however, the student should ask for it at least one day before the lesson.
During covid-19, all lessons will be conducted online until further notice.
In order to participate in online tuition, the student must have access to a fully functional headset and a broadband internet connection. The student is responsible for ensuring that the technical requirements are met. Your teacher will send you a link to join the lesson and you will need to run the online platform Zoom on your device.
6. LINK School reserves the right to cancel/reschedule classes or provide a substitute teacher in the event of sickness.
If a class is to be rescheduled, it will be on a convenient day and time for both parties.
7. All payments are non-refundable.
8. After completing the initial three-month course, the student may prolong the classes by another three months. There is no possibility to cancel the course after signing the above contract. Resignation from the ongoing classes doesn't absolve the student from the obligation of the regular monthly fee.
